Your numbers decide where you appear.

Every shipyard operating in the Philippines belongs here, and listing is free. You may already be in the register: we build a first entry from public filings, MARINA accreditation records among them, and confirm it with you before anything is published.

You do not have to ask to be listed, and you cannot pay to be listed. Either would give owners a register of who talked to us rather than of who exists — which would make it worth less to you as well as to them.

Anything that decides whether you turn up in a search is checked by us before it is published: accreditation, facility dimensions and class approvals. We check them against the issuing body’s record rather than anyone’s description of it, which is why a superintendent can act on what they read instead of ringing round to confirm it.

Everything else — your summary, your phone number, your service list — is yours to maintain, and every change is recorded with who made it and when.

Two things decide the order, and only two:

1. How well the yard fits the vessel. A dock sized close to your vessel ranks above one many times larger, because the larger one is committed to work it is sized for.
2. How complete the record is. A yard that has published its dimensions, services and contact details ranks above one that has not, because it is more useful to you.

Nothing else is in that calculation. Not payment. Not a rating. Not how recently the yard updated its page. We do not offer “sort by rating”: with a small number of reviews it is noise, it is easy to game, and it would let reputation outrank whether a dock can physically take your ship.

Which means a small yard with a complete record appears above a large one with an empty page. That is the whole design, and it is why filling in your dimensions is worth the twenty minutes it takes.

Before any of that runs, the dimensional filter runs. A facility that cannot accept the dimensions you entered is removed from the results entirely, and no commercial arrangement puts it back.

Every profile carries the date we last checked it, so an owner can see at a glance how current your figures are. That works in your favour: a yard that keeps its record up to date looks up to date, and one that has not been checked in a long while cannot appear otherwise.

After 12 months the page adds a staleness warning by itself. We cannot switch that off for a particular yard, including one that asks — which is precisely what makes the date worth anything to the person reading it, and worth having on your own page.

A figure you have not given us shows as “not stated”, never as a blank or a zero. A blank cell in a table of maximum dimensions reads as “no limit”, which is the opposite of what it means — and it is your yard that would take the call from an owner whose vessel does not fit.

Nothing critical about your yard is published without asking you first. We do not publish an unverified negative claim about a named yard at all, and if someone tells us something unflattering about yours, we check it with you before it goes anywhere near the site.

You can ask for your full record at any time, correct anything in it, or ask to be taken out of the register altogether. Those requests are honoured — being listed is not something you have to argue your way out of.

Anyone can report an error on a profile using the link on the page. It reaches us rather than appearing on your listing, and we check a correction before it lands.

Being listed is free and always will be. Every accredited yard belongs in the register whether it has ever spoken to us or not.

Verified means we checked your accreditation, dimensions and class approvals against the issuing body’s own record. It tells an owner the figures on your page were checked rather than typed in. It costs nothing today, and it cannot be hurried by paying, because there is nothing to pay for: no queue to jump and no fee to waive.

The badge does not affect search order. Results are ordered on vessel fit and record completeness, and whether a yard is verified is not one of the inputs.
